Presenting the Alpacas at Sunset Farm
When I originally decided to get into Alpacas, it was at the suggestion of my dear friend Lorraine White. She manages the herd for me at my place in Collins, MO while I am out on the road trucking and is the back bone of the operation. Lorraine does the bulk of the crocheting for the farm. She has been crocheting and sewing for about 47 years. Her mother started teaching her when she was very young and she does it during most of her free time.
Faithful Livestock Guardians . . .
Unlike Llamas, the smaller alpacas need the protection afforded by livestock guardian dogs. Here at Sunset Alpaca Farm we have our faithful canines on duty around the clock. They are as much apart of the herd family as each of the alpacas.
